My Computing Experience: I have dealt with a lot of hardware, from the 286 to the latest Intel and AMD Dual Core (haven't had a reason for the Quad Core yet, so haven't touched them). I have used practically every operating system known in the mainstream, from DOS 2.0-6.22, Windows 3.0 to 7 (except WinME and Vista), Linux (Red Hat, Debian, Slackware), FreeBSD 4.x-8.2, OS/2, BeOS, have had laptops, netbooks, PDAs and tablet PCs. I know 5 programming languages fluently. I have worked in retail and ran my own computer store for a while. I also am familiar with 3 difference database systems and have ventured into operating systems research, design and development twice.
* Being a self-learner (or autodidact) I don't have the huge pile of paper, or
the formal degree to prove that I know what I know. So I depend on certificates, self-testing
and verification plus a detailed portfolio to work for me instead.
